More about our Speaker Mariah McCleary:

For as long as I can remember, I worked hard to prove I was “worth it.” I didn’t always know what that meant—just that something in me didn’t feel valuable. Over time, I’ve been faced with choices: to believe the truth about who I am, or to accept the lie that I’m not enough.

Becoming a single mom to three incredible boys changed everything. I knew I wanted more—for them, for myself, and for the world. With a deep faith in God and a fierce belief in redemption, I left my small rural town and moved to the city. That’s where I fell in love with the beauty of diversity and the fight for the next generation.

Life wasn’t easy—I’ve faced poverty and even homelessness—but I kept going. I earned my degree in Organizational Management from Eastern University and joined the Regional and Divisional team of Young Life. Through it all, I learned how to ask boldly for what matters, especially when it benefits those who’ve gone without. Jesus has a plan for our life and offers us courage to receive it.

Today, I have the honor of speaking and teaching in spaces across the country and beyond—from students in Seattle to leaders in other countries. Whether I’m leading a workshop, keynoting a conference, or sitting in a circle with kids or meeting one on one, my heart is the same: to help people live with boldness, bravery, and authenticity. I am married to an incredible man named Matt and we have 2 more young kids. 5 kids in total and I love them each- including the new grandkids!!!

And yes, I believe laughter really does break down walls for even the hardest hearts. Miracles still happen with Jesus, I know because I am one of them!
